About Us:                             We are waging a war on "Air Pollution Mortality"

We can learn to live with climate change but we can’t live, without clean air.

I was happy to sit on the fence and watch the world go by, until I read about the effects of air pollution on humans. Globally 2.4 million people die annually as a consequence of air pollution.

 In Sydney the pollution capitol of Australia,  1400 residents die annually from air pollution related diseases. (link, please read)

A Queensland study, (link, please read) has found that mothers with a higher exposure to air pollution had foetuses that were, on average, smaller in terms of abdominal circumference, head circumference and femur length. This is a major predictor of low IQ and future health problems like cardiovascular disease. The study looked at foetuses of between 13 and 26 weeks duration. We are killing the future.

The next 30 years are critical for our environment. I intend to do something about it.

We have started producing the first prototypes featuring our "retrofit electric hybrid systems".

Our simple conversion can accomplish amazing results in reducing fuel consumption and the toxic emissions that cause air pollution. Currently there are no “retrofit electric hybrid kits” being marketed globally for trucks. All other developments in hybrid technology are being used in the production of new vehicles. The trucks we are concentrating on are the heavy-duty types used as prime movers and heavy rigid.

We are targeting used vehicles in particular trucks, although it could be fitted to newly purchased vehicles.

This concept is different to all other concepts by the close coupling of the electric motors, directly to the differential drive axle housing.

Our unit is to be marketed as a retrofit kit for heavy vehicles.

Donations;

Donations will help our cause in fighting air pollution.

Money raised is to be spent on

1/ Developing prototypes 2/  Exploring new applications; 3/ Discovering new modes of operation; 3/ Promoting Electric Vehicles:

Premature Deaths;

Exposure to heavy road traffic is linked to increased prevalence of respiratory symptoms. Increased traffic density has been associated with the admission to hospital of children between 4 months and 4 years old with obstructive bronchitis, and children of up to 5 years with asthma. In the late 1990s, motorized traffic accounted for more than 290 000 episodes of bronchitis and 162 500 of asthma in children in Austria, France and Switzerland. (Link to W.H.O.)

Comparison of  Electric Hybrid Units.

1. The usual type of electric hybrid has an electric motor fitted between the engine and transmission. The new truck manufacturers will be supplied with a similar drive unit by ZF company for the European market and the EATON corporation for the North American market. Nissan and ZF Co-Develop their Parallel Hybrid Truck.

2. “Theirs”, ArvinMeritor use a remote mounting for the motor via a transfer gearbox or drive shafts, with the electric motor siting above the axle. This is only intended for the new truck market. Their patent is dated 2005 (see attachment international patent search). Our patent is dated 2008 (see attachment patent pending) our design is completely different as can be seen below. Our concept will be completed before theirs. Email was sent to ArvinMeritor describing our design and I have published our concept on the Internet. No challenges have been made to our patent pending.

3. “Our” electric motor is close coupled to the axle. In front of the axle, behind or both for twin motors.

1. The usual type               2.“Theirs.”                      3. “Our.”

Other Hybrids

The Japanese manufacturers are concentrating on the light truck markets. Examples below.

Hino (a.) have introduced the first hybrid truck to Australia, their design follows the usual type. The cost of this vehicle is hindering their success. Isuzu (b) and Nissan (c) both use a PTO drive hybrid designs.
