Purpose; SUV's and Parcel delivery 

"Zed drive" is a simple conversion that uses an additional pinion gear assemble in a custom made housing. This replaces the cover plate on the rear of the existing live rear axle. The Ultracapacitors are fitted below floor of the vehicle. The system can be recharged via the grid and regenerative breaking.

  Remove rear cover from diff housing.

  New cover/housing uses original bolt holes of the diff housing for fitting.

The new rear cover/housing is fitted with a pinion assembly for the electric motor to drive the rear wheels.

Electric motor is fitted to new housing/cover prior to fitting.
