Purpose; Commuter bus.

Typical articulated bus with non-drive rear axle.

The non-drive trailing axle is replaced with a  drive diff/axle to complete the conversion into an electric hybrid bus. 

A steer drive axle can be used for rear wheel steering to be used.

Single or twin motor units are available.
