This conversion requires the removal the jack shaft that connects the tandem drive axles. This leave two drive shafts attachment points for the electric motors. One or two motors can be used for this application. Initial testing will be done with a single 100hp motor close coupled to the rear axle/diff unit. Other configurations will be trilled as testing progresses.
